A UK motor insurance platform built around a pooled, refund-based model. Your premium joins a shared pool of safe drivers. Claims are paid from that pool. Whatever's left at the year's end — after our 20% management fee — is refunded to drivers who didn't claim.

Cashback rewards you with a fixed amount, taken from the insurer's margin. Orca is structurally different: refunds come from the actual underwriting surplus of your pool. If the pool performs well, your refund is meaningful. If it doesn't, the model stays honest — no manufactured incentive.

Not yet directly. We're launching in July 2026 under an Appointed Representative arrangement with an FCA-authorised principal firm, operating under their permissions from day one. We're finalising this as part of our upcoming pre-seed raise.

Over the following 18–24 months we plan to apply for direct FCA authorisation. The product is designed to be regulator-aligned: refund mechanic on settled Takaful precedent, policy wording reviewed by insurance counsel, and structured to fit the FCA's Consumer Duty framework.

UK drivers who consider themselves careful and are tired of paying for nothing in return. A short risk questionnaire at signup helps build a community of safer drivers — a tighter pool means larger refunds for everyone in it.
